What it’s Like Project has now launched our Psychosis Treatment Fund to assist individuals who live with psychosis spectrum disorders to be able to afford the mental health treatment that they need, deserve and desire. This Fund is allocated to patients enrolled in the “Complex Mental Health & Psychosis Specialty Program” in Houston, TX, and is in partnership with The Lovett Center and Hune Psychotherapy. The Speciality Program provides a la carte services where people can pick and choose which evidenced-based therapy offerings best match what they’re looking for. Following three thematic values: Existential, Experiential and Expressive, the Speciality Program offers a combination of individual therapy, family therapy, specialized groups and community workshops. Designed by uniquely trained clinicians, the program encompasses a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach that focuses on bettering mental health recovery outcomes for those living with complex conditions. Stay tuned for more details on enrollment and program commencement, as we strive to enhance the quality of care for those affected by psychosis.

Donate to help patients with psychosis get the treatment they need, deserve and desire. Your generosity matters, truly.
Psychosis spectrum disorders encompass a range of debilitating mental health conditions that can profoundly affect an individual's thought processes, emotional well-being, and ability to function in daily life. Those experiencing these disorders often face challenges not only in managing their symptoms but also in accessing the treatment necessary for their recovery. Effective treatments exist, but they can be costly, creating a significant barrier for many individuals in need.
The importance of treating people with psychosis cannot be overstated. Early intervention and appropriate care can lead to more favorable outcomes, reducing the risk of long-term complications and allowing individuals to reclaim their lives. This is where the Psychosis Treatment Fund plays a crucial role. With your support, we can provide essential resources and most effective therapies to those who cannot afford them.
Many people experiencing psychosis find themselves at a crossroads, needing help but lacking the financial means to access quality treatment. By donating to the Psychosis Treatment Fund, you are directly contributing to a lifeline for these individuals. Your generosity ensures that they receive the comprehensive care they deserve, regardless of their financial situation.
Every contribution matters. With your help, we can alleviate the burden of untreated psychosis, empower individuals on their path to recovery, and transform lives in the process. Join us in making a tangible difference— support the Psychosis Treatment Fund and help us fight against stigma while shattering financial barriers.
Together, we can provide hope and healing to individuals who need it most.
